Site IT Operations Intern

Responsibilities:

  • Work as Level 1 IT support for the Troy office
  • Maintain and support internal ticketing system
  • Address issues or escalate as necessary to other IS&S team members
  • Support IT projects as necessary
  • Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems
  • Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support
  • Organize and maintain IT resources
  • Lend IT support in areas such as cybersecurity, programming, analytics, and data center management
  • Track and monitor all support cases to ensure timely resolution and follow-up
  • Clearly identify, document, and find solutions for customer issues and product problems
  • Escalate critical customer situations to the appropriate level of management and engineering expertise

 

Qualifications:

  • Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Business Operations or Information Systems with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Must be legally able to work in the US without any type of visa sponsorship/transfer requirement now and in the future
  • 1 year of work experience (IT experience is not required)
  • Ability to work in the mornings, preferably 3 days per week during the semester
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Self-motivated
  • Able to handle multiple priorities
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Excellent customer service support
