We’re growing and looking for a motivated, outgoing individual to join our team and build relationships within the lighting showroom and design community.

Position Overview

This is an entry-level, field-based sales role focused on developing relationships with lighting showrooms, interior designers, and architects throughout the Greater Boston area.

You’ll learn the lighting industry from the ground up, represent top-tier manufacturers, and play a key role in driving product awareness and sales.

What You’ll Do

Call on lighting showrooms, interior designers, and architectural firms to promote LGI’s product lines

Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers

Conduct product presentations, trainings, and showroom visits

Support showroom staff with product knowledge and project assistance

Identify new business opportunities within assigned territory

Track activity, opportunities, and sales pipeline

Coordinate with internal team on quotes, orders, and project follow-up

Attend industry events, networking functions, and occasional trade shows

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree (Business, Marketing, Interior Design, Architecture, or related field preferred)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Comfortable in a client-facing, relationship-driven role

Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Interest in design, architecture, or the built environment

Willingness to learn technical products and sales process

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally

Preferred (Not Required)

Internship or coursework in interior design, architecture, or sales

Familiarity with design tools or lighting concepts

Prior customer service or retail experience
