Senior IT Systems Administrator
Responsibilities: This position will serve as the primary technical architect and administrator of the institution's Jenzabar ERP Finance Module, with a focus on finance and business office operations. This role bridges the gap between the Information Technology Team and Financial Services Team, ensuring that Jenzabar modules are configured, maintained, and optimized to support the college's financial processes, compliance requirements, and strategic goals.
Qualifications: Applicant must have a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, Management Information Systems, or a related field. 5+ years of experience administering an ERP system in a higher education or financial services environment. Demonstrated hands-on experience with Jenzabar financial modules. Experience with system integrations (APIs, SFTP, flat-file, or middleware platforms). Experience with Jenzabar Analytics or Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, SSRS)preferred. Experience managing ERP implementations or major version upgrades preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (query writing, stored procedures, database administration). Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and higher education finance practices. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical finance staff. Familiarity with federal financial aid systems (COD, NSLDS) and related integrations preferred. Knowledge of higher education, governance, budgeting cycles, and fund accounting preferred.
Salary: The annual salary range for this position is $66,341 - $80,903.
Fringe Benefits: This position covers health insurance at 100% for employee. Additional optional coverages include dental, vision, AD&D, life insurance, and long- and short-term disability. Other benefits include retirement under the Teacher Retirement System of Texas, accrued sick leave, vacation, paid holidays, and an employee reimbursement/dependent scholarship program. Health benefits require a 60-day employment period.
