Supply Chain Intern - 2026

Title: Supply Chain Intern (Multiple semesters required)
Location: Independence, Missouri
Salary: $23.00 / hour for undergraduate students; $33.00 / hour for graduate students
Focus: The Supply Chain Intern will work with our Supply Chain and Procurement team on key initiatives and organizational success. This role will provide an opportunity to participate in special initiatives including data mining and analysis to support indirect working capital targets and develop standardization across other Winchester sites.
Supply Chain Intern Essential Job Functions:
· Report development and collaborate with other stakeholders to create resource libraries
· Create process mapping to help identify inefficiencies, propose potential solutions and support future process improvement projects
· Develop comprehensive guides to improve training effectiveness and consistency across the Purchasing function
· Support other supply chain and procurement related projects and tasks as available
Supply Chain Intern Minimum Requirements:
· Enrolled at an accredited college or university majoring in an undergraduate or graduate Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or business-related degree program (or pending enrollment in a Master's program in one of these disciplines).
· Must be able to work continuously throughout the year (Can be part-time while taking classes)
· Must have an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale at all times throughout your time at Olin. An official transcript will be required each term. Cumulative GPA on current institution transcript will be used in transfer college situations.
· Must have completed sophomore year prior to first rotation with Olin
· Ability to work part-time (20 hours a week) during normal business hours if working while taking classes and within a reasonable commute of the site. Not eligible for virtual work.
· Experience in ammunition and firearms with a knowledge of shooting sports industry is preferred
· Must possess a valid US driver's license
· This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls
· This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with the U.S. Department of Justice and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives
· This position requires successful vetting for unescorted access in accordance with U.S. Army and Department of Defense access policies. The U.S. Government does not allow non-U.S. citizens onsite at the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant (Independence, Missouri). Therefore, to be considered in the hiring process, the candidate must be a U.S. citizen.
