The Village of Deerfield Water Reclamation Facility is seeking to fill a seasonal summer intern position mid-May through mid-August. Hours are Monday through Friday 6:30a.m. - 3:00p.m.  Under the direction of the Water Reclamation Facility Foreman, or designee, the intern is responsible for performing a variety of general labor duties to assist the full-time staff including record keeping, collecting water samples, cleaning equipment and landscaping. Training with vehicles/equipment and familiarization with department safety expectations and operations will be provided upon hire.

This seasonal, non-exempt position will be paid $19 per hour, depending on qualifications. Requirements are a minimum age of 18.  Must also possess a valid Illinois Driver’s License and provide own steel toe safety boots.
