Civil Design Technician
GBC Design, Inc. is currently seeking a Civil Design Technician in our Akron, OH office to provide site designs of Federal focused programs.
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess
- Associate’s degree in civil Tech Engineering, or Engineering Design is preferred but not required.
- Experience in Site Development design.
- Familiar with and worked in Civil 3-D and AutoCAD.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask and stay organized while working on multiple projects.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
- Valid Driver’s License is required.
Day-to-day Job Responsibilities
- Site planning and coordination.
- Grading and storm water management design.
- Design coordination with internal engineers and architects.
- Background coordination with our internal team
