Interior Design Intern

Dalton Interiors is seeking motivated Interior Design Interns who are looking to gain hands-on experience in real-world residential, hospitality, multifamily, and healthcare design projects. We are ideally seeking students entering their junior year or higher in an Interior Design.

This internship is designed for students who already have some prior design experience through another internship, studio work, freelance projects, or employment in a design-related environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with material and finish selections
• Support FF&E research and sourcing
• Help organize design presentations and mood boards
• Assist with furniture and finish schedules
• Support project documentation and coordination tasks
• Conduct product and vendor research
• Assist with site visit preparation and project organization

Preferred Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Interior Design
• Preferred: Junior-year standing or above
• Previous internship or design-related experience preferred
• Familiarity with design software such as:
  • Bluebeam
  • Revit
  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • Canva
  • SketchUp or similar programs
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong eye for design details and materials

Additional Information

• Internship may be unpaid and intended for educational/professional development experience
• Compensation may be provided depending on the candidate’s experience level, qualifications, and internship responsibilities. Internship opportunities are intended to support educational and professional development experience
• Flexible scheduling may be available based on school schedules,  Our office hours are Monday - Thursday (7am to 5:30pm)
• We are currently seeking up to two interns
