Pool Monitor (in-person)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a responsible, attentive Pool Monitor to oversee daily operations at an HOA community swimming pool. The Pool Monitor will help ensure a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for all guests by enforcing pool rules, monitoring behavior, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor the pool area to ensure safety and compliance with all posted rules and regulations

Enforce pool policies in a professional and respectful manner

Check pool access (e.g., guest passes, resident verification, or wristbands)

Respond to minor incidents and report emergencies immediately to the appropriate personnel

Maintain the cleanliness of the pool deck, furniture, and surrounding areas

Set up and organize pool furniture (chairs, umbrellas, etc.) as needed

Document incidents, rule violations, and daily activity logs

Provide friendly assistance and answer questions from residents and guests

Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years old 

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to remain alert and attentive for extended periods

Comfortable enforcing rules and handling difficult situations calmly

Reliable and punctual

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous customer service or pool-related experience

CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Working Conditions:

Outdoor work environment in varying weather conditions

Requires standing, walking, and occasional lifting (chairs, equipment)

Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Compensation:

$15/hr
