Student Minister

Position Summary

The Student Minister is responsible for leading a comprehensive, gospel-centered student ministry that disciples students (7th - 12th grade) and integrates them into the life of the church.

Ministerial Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a gospel-centered student ministry strategy

• Lead a discipleship plan in cooperation with church staff

• Develop and oversee Student Grow Groups

• Recruit, train, and support student ministry leaders

• Plan and lead weekly midweek student gatherings

• Build and lead Adult and Student Leadership Teams

• Plan and oversee camps, retreats, and student events

• Lead student mission opportunities locally and beyond

• Integrate students into the life of the church

• Serve under the leadership of the Lead Pastor

• Collaborate with staff and participate in overall ministry

Personal Life

• Maintain a growing relationship with Christ

• Model Christ-like leadership and character

• Demonstrate a teachable spirit

• Humility to serve on a teamQualifications

• Clear calling to student ministry

• Strong biblical theology

• Experience in student ministry leadership

• Strong leadership and relational skills

• A team player

• College and seminary degrees are preferred
