Director of Youth Ministry
The Director of Youth Ministry brings energy, faith, and strong relational leadership to guide the spiritual growth of middle and high school students at First Presbyterian Church, Greensboro (PCUSA). This role provides vision, oversight, and direction for a well-established youth program, working closely with the Youth Formation Committee, Christian Formation team, and church staff. It offers a flexible schedule, a collaborative and supportive ministry environment, and the opportunity to serve within a vibrant, engaged congregation.

We are seeking a candidate who will lead and shape the spiritual development of our middle and high school students. The person who fills this role will provide overall vision, direction, and strategy for youth ministry—building on a strong existing program while continuing to grow and evolve it. It is important that a candidate be adept at building authentic relationships with students, parents, and volunteers—both within the church and out in the community. Tasks include but are not limited to leading youth programming including youth Sunday school, youth group, midweek activities, mission trips, summer conferences, and key milestones like Confirmation.
