Marketing Intern
Position Overview
The Marketing Intern will play a key role in supporting the sales department in the marketing and communications efforts of NOLA Education. This individual will gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, branding, content creation, and campaign execution while contributing to meaningful educational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
1. Content Creation & Digital Marketing
- Assist in developing and scheduling content for social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
- Create engaging posts, graphics, and short-form videos aligned with brand messaging
- Support blog writing, email newsletters, and website content updates
- Help maintain a consistent brand voice across all channels
2. Campaign Support
- Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns for programs, events, and initiatives
- Support lead generation efforts for sales and program teams
- Track campaign performance and provide basic reporting insights
3. Market Research & Competitive Analysis
- Conduct research on education trends, competitors, and target markets
- Identify opportunities for growth in K-12 and at-risk youth education sectors
- Assist in building buyer personas (e.g., superintendents, program directors)
4. Event & Promotion Support
- Assist in promoting webinars, training sessions, and live events
- Help coordinate marketing materials for events (flyers, email invites, social posts)
- Support post-event follow-up campaigns
5. Branding & Collateral Development
Assist in creating marketing materials such as:
- One-pagers
- Sales decks
- Case studies
- Flyers and brochures
- Ensure all materials align with brand guidelines
Qualifications
Required
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
Preferred
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (Odoo, Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of email marketing tools (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, etc.)
- Interest in education, EdTech, or nonprofit sectors

Compensation
- Paid hourly - 10 hours per week (based on program/academic requirements)
- Academic credit may be available
