Fashion Designer/ Cad Artist- Ladies Apparel and Accessories

Lisa International, a New York City based apparel and accessories company, is seeking a Fashion Designer/ Cad Artist to join our team. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow in the fashion industry and work closely with global partners.

Job Description/ Responsibilities:

- Create garment designs, prints, and graphics for contemporary/ missy sportswear & outerwear lines
- Sketch & render flats/ create cad boards & graphics using Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
- Alter and recolor garment photographs using Photoshop
- Create tech packs to send overseas including print, embellishment, and embroidery layouts if necessary
- Choose color standards
- Source trims

- Team collaboration
- Communicate with overseas office via email

Job Qualifications

- MUST have very good computer flat sketching & rendering skills on Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
- Must be able to alter & recolor garment photographs.
- Good knowledge of garment specs & construction
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Must be responsible, reliable, able to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines

- Must be a team player

- Christmas sweater design experience a plus- but not required

Required Documents:

Email resume AND examples of your artwork created in Adobe Illustrator/ Photoshop including rendered digital flat garment sketches in color and including prints/ graphics. Send files as jpegs.
We are mostly interested in seeing ladies sweaters & tops. Christmas designs are a plus but not required.
