Social Media Editor

We’re looking for a Social Media Editor and Discord Manager who knows how to keep conversations flowing, communities engaged, and digital spaces organized. You’ll manage our #TWP social platforms, including our Discord server, by creating posts, moderating chats, scheduling and hosting discussions or events, sharing writing prompts, and helping members connect with opportunities. You’ll also work with our editorial teams to make sure #TWP updates, writing challenges, and teen-led programs are active and accessible in real time. This is a hybrid position, so you should be able to collaborate online and attend local events when needed.

• Community Connector: Build and maintain an active, welcoming digital space where teen writers feel inspired to share ideas, ask questions, and collaborate.
   
• Chat Moderator: Keep conversations respectful, organized, and on-topic while helping new members find their place in the community.
   
• Event Host: Plan and lead live events, weekly writing sprints, Q&As, or themed chats that keep members engaged and excited to participate.
   
• Creative Collaborator: Work with the editorial teams to share updates, writing prompts, and opportunities directly through Discord and other social media platforms.
   
• Tech-Savvy Organizer: Manage accounts, channels, roles, bots, and permissions to keep the server running smoothly and easy to navigate.
   
• Vibe Keeper: Set the tone for fun, creativity, and connection—because #TWP is more than a community; it’s a movement for teen writers everywhere.
