Print/Mail Production Supervisor
THE POSITION

The Department of General Services is seeking a Print/Mail Production Supervisor to serve as a first shift supervisor for Mail Production Assistants/Operators/Team Leads, and Print Production Technicians. In this role, you will have the opportunity to perform complex, time sensitive and data sensitive print/mail work in a fast-paced environment using the latest technologies and high-end production level equipment. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As supervisor for first shift mail and print operations, you can expect to assign and review work, train employees and perform quality control functions for all the work. You will oversee and direct the work and all print and mail equipment, job tickets, work orders and all other work performed on this shift, ensuring it is consistent with operational and organizational requirements. This position stages and prioritizes work for the print, insert and sort units using job tickets and work orders to ensure work is completed timely and accurately. You will also submit daily production shift turnover reports to management to ensure continuity of operations across shifts.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- Essential Employee - Required to work during emergencies and office closings.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Print Production Technician; or
- One year as a Mail Production Team Leader; or
- Two years of experience in the operation of print or mail insertion equipment or similar machinery used in a print or mail production facility; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must have Print Production experience.
- You must have experience with printing production equipment.
- You must have experience managing/supervising staff.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
