Part-Time Coding & Robotics Instructor (In-Person | San Francisco, CA)

Learn2Code.Live is hiring Part-Time Coding & Robotics Instructors to deliver engaging, hands-on STEM, coding, and robotics classes for K–12 students in San Francisco, CA. This is an in-person, after-school teaching role with a fully provided curriculum—no lesson planning required.

 

Location: 350 Harbor Rd, San Francisco, CA 94124 (In-Person)
Start Date: June 8
Pay Rate: $25–$35 per hour
Position Type: Part-Time | After-School Programs

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver interactive, project-based coding and robotics lessons for K–12 students
  • Guide students through hands-on programming and robotics activities
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
  • Encourage curiosity, collaboration, and creative problem-solving
  • Adapt instruction for different ages and learning styles
  • Communicate clearly with students, parents, and the Learn2Code.Live team
  • Track student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Support students individually and in group learning settings
  • Maintain classroom structure and ensure smooth lesson delivery
  • Provide feedback to help improve curriculum and instructional quality

 

Qualifications

  • Background in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related fields (students and recent graduates welcome)
  • Experience with one or more of the following is a plus:
    • Programming: Python, Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, C/C++, Scratch
    • Robotics/Hardware: LEGO SPIKE Essential, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Micro:bit
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills
  • Passion for teaching kids and making STEM learning engaging
  • Reliable, organized, punctual, and able to teach in-person in San Francisco, CA

 

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience
  • Experience in STEM education, after-school programs, or youth instruction
