Electrical Engineer

Position Overview

ARC Group is seeking a driven and hands-on Electrical Engineer to support our client’s operations in Trenton, SC. This role is ideal for an engineer with experience in industrial automation and medium voltage systems who is eager to contribute to process improvements, troubleshoot complex systems, and support ongoing engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and resolve electrical issues of moderate complexity with guidance from senior engineers
  • Assist in the planning, design, development, and testing of electrical equipment, components, and systems
  • Support continuous improvement and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
  • Troubleshoot, program, and maintain PLC-based control systems
  • Work with medium voltage systems and machine control technologies, including PLCs and servo systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system reliability and performance
  • Develop and maintain electrical schematics, documentation, and system layouts
  • Support installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment and systems

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in electrical engineering or industrial automation
  • Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and Rockwell Automation software
  • Proficiency in PLC programming, troubleshooting, and system integration
  • Experience with remote I/O systems, HMIs, and industrial control components
  • Knowledge of industrial Ethernet communication and machine network architecture
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with medium voltage electrical systems
  • Familiarity with servo systems and motion control
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
