Communications Video Development Team Lead
Position Summary
Oversees the planning, development, and coordination of video content used to support the organization’s communications, campaigns, and storytelling initiatives. Leads the video development team to ensure content is engaging, accurate, and aligned with the organization’s mission, tone, and messaging standards. Serves as the primary point of coordination between the video team and the Communications Department.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate the video development team, including assigning tasks and managing timelines
Oversee creation of video content such as promotional videos, educational content, and campaign messaging
Review video drafts for quality, accuracy, tone, and alignment with organizational values
Collaborate with the Communications team to align video projects with broader messaging strategies
Provide feedback, guidance, and support to video editors, producers, and contributors
Maintain organization of video files, drafts, and final productions
Ensure projects meet deadlines and quality expectations
Support onboarding and training of new video development team members
Promote collaboration, professionalism, and inclusivity within the team
