Community Education Specialist

The Community Education Specialist serves as a coordinator for training efforts to educate the community on domestic violence, healthy relationships. personal space and more. They are also responsible for providing counseling and advocacy services to domestic violence victims.
 

Responsibilities include
1) Provide education regarding domestic violence dynamics and resources
2) assist with content for social media platforms
3) maintain current materials and resources to support outreach efforts
4) coordinate outreach efforts to ensure that information about the WCMC is reaching diverse community and professional groups
5) provide support as needed to 45-hr Domestic Violence Counselor/Advocate training.
