Junior Optician Trainee

Looking for real life doctor's office experience?

A super cool local Optometry clinic is looking for part-time help to train as a junior optician!

Job duties include: Corresponding with patients via phone and email, scheduling and confirming appointments, pulling and explaining vision insurance plans, fitting and styling patients in glasses, explaining and recommending lens options, troubleshooting glasses issues, adjusting frames, and more!

You'll be given hands-on training by our Office Manager, a passionate optician with plenty of years in the business. This is a great opportunity for medical students (or other majors!) to be exposd to a doctor's office setting without the required scrubs.
