Robotics & STEM Instructor (Part-Time)
Bridge Learning Center – Rancho Cucamonga, CA
Bridge Learning Center is hiring a reliable, engaging Robotics & STEM Instructor to lead hands-on classes for students in PreK through 8th grade. This role also includes small-group academic tutoring, and requires someone who can plan and lead structured lessons independently.
Schedule (Required)
- Mondays & Wednesdays: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Saturdays: Morning hours
- Additional hours available based on enrollment
Responsibilities
- Plan and teach structured robotics and STEM lessons for a range of age groups (PreK–8th)
- Lead hands-on instruction using:
- LEGO Education (Essentials, SPIKE Prime, Computer Science)
- VEX GO and VEX IQ
- Engino engineering kits
- Teach coding fundamentals:
- Scratch / Scratch Jr
- Python (intro level)
- Support small-group tutoring sessions (3:1 ratio) in reading and/or math
- Maintain strong classroom routines, pacing, and behavior expectations
- Prepare materials and ensure classes run on time and smoothly
Training & Support
- Initial training and curriculum guidance will be provided
- Instructor is expected to take ownership of lesson planning and delivery after onboarding
- Ongoing support available, but this is not a passive or assistant role
Qualifications
- Experience working with children (teaching, tutoring, coaching, etc.)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Interest or experience in robotics, STEM, or coding
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent (non-negotiable)
Preferred:
- Experience with LEGO Robotics, VEX, or similar platforms
- Basic knowledge of Scratch and/or Python
- Education or STEM-related background

Compensation
$22 – $28 per hour, based on experience and instructional ability
(Typical hires fall around $24–$25/hour, with opportunities for increases based on performance and reliability)
