Consumer Insights Summer Intern

Mission & Opportunity: 

The Consumer Insights Summer Intern will support the Consumer Insights team in understanding consumer behaviors, attitudes, motivations, and unmet needs to inform business, brand, and innovation decisions. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience with real-world qualitative and quantitative research, data analysis, and insight storytelling in a fast-paced business environment. The intern will collaborate closely with Consumer Insights leaders and cross-functional partners (e.g., Marketing, Brand, Innovation, Analytics) to help translate consumer data into clear, actionable insights that support strategic decision making.

 

 The Impact You’ll Have: 

  • Support the design and execution of consumer research studies, including surveys, focus groups, interviews, and usage & attitude (U&A) studies.
  • Assist with data cleaning, analysis, and synthesis of quantitative and qualitative research findings. 
  • Conduct secondary research, competitive scans, and consumer trend analysis. 
  • Help develop insight summaries, charts, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on consumer behavior and business implications. 
  • Support ad hoc research and insight requests as needed.

 

What you Bring:

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Marketing, Business, Psychology, Sociology, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to synthesize data into clear, concise insights and implications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (or Google Sheets / Google Slides).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Curiosity about consumer behavior and how insights inform business decisions.

 

Experience We Value: 

  • Coursework or experience in market research, consumer behavior, or analytics.
  • Familiarity with survey tools or data analysis software (e.g., Qualtrics, SPSS, Tableau, R, or similar).
  •  Experience working with datasets and creating presentations for stakeholders.
  • Interest in consumer trends, branding, marketing, and innovation.

The salary range for this position is based on national standards. The Target Base Pay Range is $40.00-45.00 an hour, to reflect the cost of living and market conditions in those areas. 

Actual compensation will take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, education, experience, qualifications, and job-related skills. It is not typical for an individual to be hired above the midpoint of the range for their role, and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. This information is provided to applicants in accordance with state and local laws. 


Base pay is only one component of our total rewards offerings, and we will take the full offering into consideration when presenting an offer of employment.  Our total rewards package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, Medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401K match, and other wellness benefits.  


Pharmavite provides compensation for all overtime hours worked by non-exempt (hourly) employees in accordance with state and federal law. The need to work overtime hours will be determined by management, based on customer and business necessity to meet the needs of our business, Pharmavite may require employees to work overtime. 
 

Voluntary overtime requested by non-exempt employees must be approved in advance by the employee’s supervisor.
