Job Title: Junior Android Developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated Junior Android Developer to assist in building, maintaining, and improving Android applications. You will work closely with senior developers and designers to create user-friendly mobile apps while learning industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Android applications using Android Studio
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Java or Kotlin
  • Assist in debugging, testing, and optimizing application performance
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive interfaces
  • Integrate APIs and third-party libraries
  • Participate in code reviews and team meetings
  • Stay updated with Android development trends and tools

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of Android app development fundamentals
  • Familiarity with Android SDK
  • Knowledge of Git for version control
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON
  • Basic knowledge of UI layouts (XML) and Material Design principles
  • Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

  • Completed personal or academic Android projects
  • Familiarity with Firebase
  • Exposure to Retrofit or similar libraries
