Business Intelligence Intern

Position Summary: 

The Business Intelligence Intern will support the Club’s data and analytics efforts across multiple business areas, including ticketing, marketing, partnerships, and fan engagement. This position provides hands-on experience in building dashboards, analyzing fan and sales data, and supporting the ongoing development of the Club’s data infrastructure.

 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in building and maintaining data visualizations, reports and workflows to support cross departmental business units. 
Use Excel and business intelligence tools (e.g. Salesforce, Tableau) to explore data, identify trends, and prepare reports for leadership. 
Assist with data entry, updates, and maintenance while ensuring accurate, organized records through data validation, integrations, and documentation. 
Assist in KPI tracking, sales pacing, and retention analysis for revenue and engagement metrics. 
Contribute to fan segmentation projects. 
Perform other related duties and projects as assigned. 
 

Qualifications 

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Information Systems, Sports Management, or related field. 
Prior experience or coursework in CRM, data analytics or Business Intelligence preferred 
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and comfortable learning new software systems. 
Familiar with Power BI or Tableau preferred. 
Exposure to Python, R or SQL a plus. 
Sports industry experience a plus.

Estimated Workload 

Hours per week: 25-30 hours average 
Duration: 8 months (May–Dec) 
On-Site only 
Shifts may include event days, evenings, and/or weekends as needed.
