Basic Financial Literacy Instructor

Part-Time Basic Financial Literacy Instructor – In-Person | Perris, CA & Moreno Valley, CA

 

Learn2Code.Live is seeking energetic and dependable Basic Financial Literacy Instructors to teach in-person, after-school classes for K–12 students across Perris, CA and Moreno Valley, CA.

 

Pay Rate: $25–$40 per hour
Schedule: Part-Time | ~25 hours per week | After-School Programs | In-Person

 

About the Role

In this role, you’ll guide students in developing essential money-management and financial literacy skills through interactive, age-appropriate lessons. Students will learn practical concepts such as budgeting, saving, smart spending, and goal setting in a fun, supportive, and structured classroom environment.

 

All curriculum, lesson plans, and teaching materials are fully provided. Your focus will be on delivering engaging instruction, supporting students, and creating a positive learning experience.

 

Responsibilities

  • Teach core financial literacy concepts using a structured, ready-to-use curriculum
  • Lead interactive activities covering budgeting, saving, spending, and financial goal setting
  • Adapt lessons for different age groups (K–12) and learning styles
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
  • Track student participation and progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Communicate professionally with parents, school staff, and the Learn2Code.Live team
  • Deliver classes independently while maintaining high-quality instruction
  • Manage a consistent weekly schedule (~25 hours per week)
  • Arrive prepared and on time for all scheduled sessions

 

Who We’re Looking For

  • Individuals with basic knowledge or interest in personal finance, budgeting, or money management
  • Students, recent graduates, or professionals in finance, business, economics, education, or related fields
  • Patient, organized, and enthusiastic about teaching practical life skills to children
  • Comfortable working with K–12 students in a classroom setting
  • Teaching, tutoring, or mentoring experience is a plus—but not required
  • Comfortable using basic technology and interactive teaching tools
  • Reliable transportation to school sites in Perris, CA and Moreno Valley, CA
