Estate Administration Paralegal

Harrisburg law firm has an immediate opening for an assistant/paralegal with law firm experience handling all aspects of Estate Administration. Candidate must have at least one year of paralegal experience in a law firm setting and be able to multi-task and prioritize. Some of the duties that an ideal candidate will be performing are:

Job Overview:

Administer an Estate from beginning to end, which duties may include:

-Open the Estate and prepare a Petition to the Register of Wills.

-Prepare PA Inheritance Tax Return.

-Prepare Fiduciary Income Tax Return to capture any income or loss or gains to report to the IRS.

-Advertise Estate notices.

-Help the administrators collect the money by filling out paperwork for various companies. Drafting of various letters will be required.

-Prepare an accounting of all assets and expenses when multiple beneficiaries or a charity is involved.

Programs/software used for the position: Outlook, Word, Lackner, Neos, among others.

**Compensation is dependent upon experience.
