Sales Executive

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an ambitious, high-energy Sales Executive who wants more than just a sales role—you want exposure to how modern brands grow in today’s eCommerce landscape.

This is a unique opportunity to:

  • Engage directly with senior marketing leaders and CPG brand owners
  • Build real experience in marketplace strategy and digital commerce
  • Play a key role in driving growth for a rapidly scaling consultancy

You’ll be on the front lines of our business—opening conversations, building relationships, and helping position Gold Compass Commerce as a strategic partner to leading brands.

What You’ll Do

  • Prospect and engage senior marketing leaders, brand executives, and founders across CPG and specialty brands
  • Execute outbound outreach across LinkedIn, email, and phone with a strategic, personalized approach
  • Identify opportunities and qualify leads for deeper strategic conversations
  • Collaborate closely with leadership on messaging, targeting, and outreach strategy
  • Track and manage pipeline activity within CRM tools
  • Continuously refine outreach based on performance and insights

What We’re Looking For

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or outbound prospecting (agency or eCommerce experience is a plus)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills—you can speak confidently with senior-level stakeholders
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Curious and eager to learn about eCommerce, marketplaces, and digital growth strategy
  • Resilient and proactive—you’re not afraid of outreach, follow-ups, or rejection
  • Organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through
