Compliance Intern - Year Long (29hrs) Jaguar Land Rover HQ - Mahwah, NJ

DEPARTMENT:  Emissions Certification & Compliance 

LOCATION: Mahwah, NJ 

RECRUITMENT SALARY: $18/hour

 Jaguar Land Rover North America’s internship program is a great opportunity for college students entering their junior or senior year, or who are currently in a graduate school program, to gain hands-on experience in the exciting world of the automotive industry!  This is a great opportunity for personal growth and development from a business and learning perspective. 

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Compliance Intern to join our team. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of emissions and fuel economy government reporting, including data analysis and forecasting. This internship offers an opportunity to work collaboratively within a corporate setting with experienced professionals, and to develop analytical skills and technical knowledge. If you have a passion for automotive products, and you enjoy applying your data analytical skills, this role will provide the exposure and experience needed to accelerate your career. 

  

 Details of the program: 

The program is open to students at a Junior or Senior level in their Bachelor’s Degree program or a Graduate program 

The Internship runs from June 15, 2026 to June 2027 

25-29 hours per week during business hours (Business Hours: Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:00pm) 

Hybrid Schedule available 

  

WHAT TO EXPECT: 

Assist with data analysis to support government reporting 

Support the emissions compliance team in tracking and compiling emissions performance data 

Conduct regulations research encompassing vehicle certification and compliance 

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support reporting obligations 

Assist with ad hoc data compilation and analysis to support internal stakeholders 

Assist with ad hoc compliance-related research to support requests from government agencies 

Perform other duties as required 

  

 WHAT YOU WILL NEED: 

The successful candidate must be enrolled in a business analytics/technical or related program for the 2026/27 school year (junior, senior, or graduate student) 

Utilize Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to compile and analyze data, and prepare reports 

Proficiency in Excel 

Natural problem solver with ability to adapt to change 

Personal Attributes: excellent interpersonal skills, initiative, team player, motivated to accomplish and succeed 

Preferred - knowledge of automotive technical principles
