Early Childhood Education Aide

Early Childhood Education (ECE) Aide – Los Angeles, CA
$19 per hour | Courthouse or ECE Setting

 

We are seeking compassionate, attentive Early Childhood Education Aides to support either in a preschool or courthouse setting. Our courthouse setting includes supervising children (ages 0-18) while their parents meet with attorneys, judges, or court staff. This role ensures a safe, calm, and welcoming environment for children during what can often be a stressful time for families.

What You’ll Do:

  • Supervise and engage children of varying ages in a designated childcare space
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly environment at all times 
  • Provide age-appropriate activities that promote comfort and positive interaction 
  • Monitor children’s behavior and needs, intervening calmly and appropriately when required 
  • Ensure adherence to all safety protocols, sign in/out procedures, and child supervision policies 
  • Communicate professionally with parents, guardians, school staff, and/or court personnel
  • Report any concerns regarding a child’s wellbeing in accordance with organizational guidelines
  • Assist with basic administrative tasks related to child attendance and program documentation
