Market Operations Coordinator
Position Overview
The Saratoga Farmers’ Market is seeking a reliable, creative, and organized Market Operations Coordinator to support weekly operations and communications. This role is designed to share responsibilities across staff to ensure sustainability, consistency, and a positive working environment.

Key Responsibilities
Market Operations
- Manage the weekly market in Clifton Park (Monday afternoons from June - October)
- Provide occasional on-site support in Saratoga (Wednesdays & Saturdays)
- Help ensure smooth setup, vendor coordination, and overall customer experience
Marketing & Communications
- Design promotional materials (event graphics, signage, flyers)
- Manage and schedule social media content
- Update website with current market information and events
- Create and distribute e-newsletters
Ideal Candidate
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
- Basic graphic design skills (Canva or similar tools preferred)
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
- Interest in farmers’ markets, local food, or community programming
- Ability to occasionally work outdoors in varying weather conditions
