Brand Ambassador (The "Street MBA" Sales Role)

 

The Mission

We are a high-growth home remodeling startup looking for individuals who want to learn “The Art of the Approach,” the 3-5 seconds during which you transition from a stranger to a person who commands someone's attention. Your job is to engage homeowners at events, qualify their needs, and sell the appointment. Most "booth jobs" involve sitting behind a table waiting for people to ask for a flyer. This is not that job.

 

Why Work Here?

·       Direct Access: You aren’t a cog in a machine. You’ll work directly with the owner, a retired Army Military Intelligence officer, learning the "Lead-to-Revenue" pipeline that drives a million-dollar startup business.

·       Real Sales Experience: You will master the ability to control a conversation and qualify a lead in under 60 seconds. This is the most valuable skill in the business world, and you’ll get paid to learn it.

·       Career Path: We are looking for our future Full-Time Home Show and Event Coordinator. If you can execute at the booth, you could eventually own the entire program – managing staff for our territory, the calendar, the logistics, the results - everything.

 

Compensation & Upside

·       Total compensation is tied directly to your effort and output. While the base rate of $10 per hour is the floor, top performers focus on the incentives.

·       You'll earn a commission of $30 for every "Issued Appointment" you set. An "Issued Appointment" is an appointment that actually happens, i.e., a member of our design team enters the customer’s home.

·       At a busy event, a high-performer can easily walk away with an effective rate of $40+ per hour. There is no ceiling or cap on what you can earn.

·       If you have the stamina and the social intelligence to fill the sales calendar, you will make a ridiculous amount of money relative to the work.

·       The Long Game: For someone who proves they can drive the numbers, this role is the direct pipeline into a full-time managerial position with a salary, overrides, and a "seat at the table."

 

Who We Are Looking For

This is a sales role. We need people who love "stepping into the aisle" to intercept foot traffic. If you are shy, prefer to wait for customers to come to you, or would rather spend your shift looking at your phone, you will not succeed here. We want competitors – athletes, veterans, or anyone who thrives when their paycheck is tied to their performance.

 

Your Role

·       Intercept: Greet passersby within 3-5 seconds with high, positive energy.

·       Qualify: Follow our script to ensure the person is a homeowner with a genuine project need.

·       Close: Schedule an appointment that you’re confident will “issue” – i.e., a member of our design team will be able to enter the home as scheduled.

 

Non-Negotiable Requirements

·       Physicality: You’ll be on your feet and "on" for hours-long shifts.

·       Discipline: On time means 15 minutes early.

·       Resilience: You must be able to process "No," learn a lesson if there is one, and move on to the next prospect. Repeatedly.

·       Reliability: You have your own transportation, a professional appearance, and a level of personal integrity where breaking a promise or missing a goal gives you physical discomfort.
