Your Role: Marketing Intern – In this role, you’ll support a variety of marketing initiatives that help tell our story and highlight the work we do.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Support the day-to-day management of company social media accounts, including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, and YouTube, by drafting posts, scheduling content, and tracking engagement and performance.
  • Assist with collecting content for the internal company magazine, drafting articles, and organizing layouts and overall content.
  • Support content creation for the company calendar, including coordinating and organizing project photos.
  • Assist with updating and maintaining marketing content on the company website.
  • Provide support with basic graphic design and formatting of marketing materials, presentations, and promotional items.
  • Organize and maintain marketing assets, including photos, videos, and project files.
  • Provide general marketing and administrative support, particularly during high-volume periods and special projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

  • Current enrollment in college pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field.
  • Ability to work full-time, on-site, Monday through Friday during the internship period.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with flexibility and willingness to learn.

Nice to Have But Not Necessary 

  • Previous work, internship, or extracurricular experience demonstrating reliability and a strong work ethic is preferred.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). 
  • Basic understanding of social media platforms, including content creation, scheduling, and audience engagement best practices.
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles, including branding, messaging, and audience targeting.
  • Familiarity with website content management and updating web pages.
  • Interest in construction, engineering, or the built environment.

Compensation

A reasonable base compensation estimate for this position is $26.00 per hour + comprehensive benefits + potential for a discretionary profit-sharing bonus.

Individual pay within this compensation range may span multiple levels within the role and is determined by assessing job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. It also factors in market demands and business needs. The disclosed range may be subject to change or modification based on business needs in the future.
