Project Leader Intern

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Leader Intern will support customer-line projects and programs with a primary focus on project leadership for new product launches. This role offers hands-on exposure to cross-functional project management activities, supporting experienced Project Leaders in planning, reporting, and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support customer-facing projects and programs, ensuring timely execution and clear communication.
  • Assist with project leadership activities for new launches, from early planning through execution.
  • Create and maintain project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Manage and update Project Leader (PL) reports, including checkbooks and project review documentation.
  • Develop and maintain project templates, such as Project Team Cost models.
  • Provide support for new quote activities, including data collection, coordination, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, finance, and sales) to support project success.
  • Ensure project information is accurate, up to date, and aligned with internal standards.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with project reporting tools is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
