Behavioral Health Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Therapist to provide comprehensive mental health services within a beautiful residential setting at The Ranch of Opportunity. As a Behavioral Health Therapist, you will deliver evidence-based treatments, conduct diagnostic evaluations, and support patients through individual and group counseling sessions. Your role will be instrumental in promoting mental wellness, managing complex cases, and ensuring high-quality patient care.

The Ranch of Opportunity is a peaceful and healthy environment for teen girls age 13 to 17 that have experienced trauma to live, learn, heal, and grow in our residential treatment program. This is a unique program that includes horse therapy ran by an Equine team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine mental health needs.
• Develop personalized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions to address issues including trauma.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, case managers, and medical professionals to coordinate patient care effectively.

Experience

• Experience working with teens and adolescents.
• Familiarity with crisis intervention protocols and managing mental health emergencies effectively.

Requirements

• Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
