HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Position Title: Human Resources Coordinator

Reports To: Director of HR

Classification: Full-Time/Exempt/Salaried/ON-SITE

 

HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for supporting HR functions to include payroll, employee changes, benefits, leave management and unemployment. The Human Resources Coordinator will utilize multiple HR systems to achieve consistent results. This role requires handing confidential information with integrity.

 

HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Maintains payroll information by collating, calculating, and inputting data for all Range USA locations
  • Updates records by entering any changes to employee information or benefits
  • Supports the administration of employee benefits enrollment and changes
  • Responds to unemployment claims and employment verification requests
  • Helps maintain employee files and ensure HR records comply with federal and state requirements
  • Prepares reports through the payroll system to audit and maintain accurate records
  • Serves as a point of contact for employee questions related to pay, benefits, and leave
  • Assists HR Department in responding to HR related needs in stores and in the Support Center

 

HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in human resources, payroll processing, or a related administrative role
  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written) including strong relationship building skills
  • Familiarity with federal and state employment laws (FMLA, ADA, FLSA)
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly in data entry and record-keeping
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, multi-location environment.
