Baseball Player Development Intern

Unlimited Academy – Baseball Player Development Intern (Summer 2026)

Location: Unlimited Academy
Duration: Summer 2026 (Late May–August, flexible start/end dates)
Compensation: Paid internship (hourly rate TBD) + free training at Unlimited Academy

 

 

About Unlimited Academy

Unlimited Academy is a training-focused youth sports organization offering development across six sports: tennis, basketball, baseball, football, soccer, and lacrosse. Our mission is to develop athletes not only into better players, but better people. Through structured training, mentorship, and intentional coaching, we emphasize character, discipline, and long-term growth both on and off the field.

 

 

Position Overview

The Player Development Intern will work directly alongside coaching staff to support daily training operations and athlete development. This is a hands-on, on-field role designed for individuals interested in pursuing a career in coaching, player development, or the business of sports performance. At Unlimited Academy, coaching extends beyond sport—interns will be part of an environment that uses athletics as a vehicle to teach discipline, accountability, and personal growth.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with on-field coaching during training sessions (warm-ups, drills, bullpen support)
  • Help set up and break down equipment before and after sessions
  • Support daily training flow and athlete organization
  • Film bullpens and drills for player feedback and analysis
  • Assist with basic tracking of athlete performance and session notes
  • Contribute to social media content (filming, editing, posting)
  • Provide general operational support to ensure high-quality training sessions

 

 

Learning & Development Opportunities

  • Gain exposure to a structured pitcher development system
  • Learn drill design and coaching communication strategies
  • Observe and assist in athlete assessment and program planning
  • Develop an understanding of long-term athlete development
  • Gain experience in sports business operations and brand/social media growth

Schedule Expectations

  • Primarily weekday hours
  • Occasional evenings and weekends based on training schedule
  • Schedule will vary week-to-week depending on athlete needs

 

 

Qualifications

  • Strong interest in baseball, coaching, and player development
  • Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Positive energy and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work with youth and high school athletes
  • Previous playing or coaching experience preferred
