Position Summary:
Skyhawks Sports Academy is seeking energetic, enthusiastic, and nurturing SuperTots Coaches to introduce children ages 2–5 to the world of sports. This role focuses on teaching age-appropriate sports skills through movement, play, and imagination while helping young children build foundational life skills such as listening, sharing, and confidence. SuperTots Coaches implement curriculum in a safe, fun, and sports-positive environment, ensuring each child feels supported and successful. Ideal candidates are patient, flexible, engaging, and passionate about early childhood development and creating positive first experiences in sports.
Responsibilities:
- Lead fun, age-appropriate activities using the Skyhawks SuperTots curriculum.
- Create a high-energy, playful environment that keeps young children engaged.
- Introduce basic sports skills through movement and imaginative play.
- Support safe, well-organized classes alongside fellow coaches.
- Commit to leading assigned classes consistently throughout each session.
Requirements:
- Demonstrate a genuine passion for sports and youth development.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel up to 30 miles to program locations.
- Must be able to attend daytime training from June 3-5.
- Must successfully pass a background check.
- First Aid and CPR certified (or willing to obtain certification after hire).
- Preferred: Prior experience in coaching, teaching, or childcare.

Pay: $16-$22/hr
Schedule:
- Early Evening Programming between 4:30pm-7:30pm
- Weekdays: Monday-Thursday

Work Location(s): In-person at various locations throughout the Twin Cities Metro including: Minnetonka, Plymouth, Maple Grove, Orono, Chanhassen, Chaska, Prior Lake, Waconia, Rogers, Stillwater, and more.
