Business Development Coordinator – National Accounts

Location:

Adairsville, GA Office

Reports To:

Director of National Accounts with dotted line to Customer Service Team Leader

Position Summary:

The Business Development Coordinator for National Accounts plays an important role in the daily communication, operations, and coordination activities within the National Accounts Team. This position supports primarily with communication, administrative execution, reporting; also liaises intra-departmental coordination with Customer Service, Logistics, QC, Planning and Production management, amongst other departments. The ideal candidate is a good communicator, highly organized, adaptable and a problem solver.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communication Gateway
  • Liaise communication between the National Accounts team, Field Reps and Customer Service Team
  • Receive projects and requests
  • Inquire and understand the background of the projects and requests
  • Coordinate the execution of the project with departments involved
  • Summarize status and outcomes from ongoing projects and ensure all parties involved are updated
  • Meetings, conference calls, and face to face updates must be recorded in written form: Meeting summaries, To do lists, timelines and milestones, confirmation emails, etc.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, pricing files, internal reports and other digital files
  • Support data accuracy across systems (CRM, ERP, and shared databases).
  • Pricing and Quotations
  • Inquire Cost Center for specific product costs if not available in the standard SKU price list, following overall sales strategy per product category
  • Prepare quotation files with full detailed information to review with National Account Director
  • Clear and full Basic specifications listed
  • Loading factors as calculated by PM department
  • Clarity in lead times and production milestones
  • Product Line Reviews
  • Directly involves in the preparation of collections and decors for yearly product line reviews from customers
  • Prepares detailed charts per category to follow the status of each collection development
  • Assist if necessary in the preparation of samples and display during customer visit periods
  • Sample coordination
  • Coordinates the preparation of samples with the factories involved
  • Timelines and follow up
  • Basic information of the specifications of the product
  • Decors required
  • Expectations such as deadlines, sample type, quantities
  • SKU Onboarding
  • Set up sheets and SKU internal Onboarding
  • Assist in the preparation of SKU set up sheets with the BD team in Asia
  • Review SKU set up sheets with National Account Director
  • Follow up for creation of the SKU within CFL SAP system
  • Customer Systems
  • Coordinate and follow up the creation of the SKU in the customer’s system (Foundation, BR)
  • Specification sheets, third party test results and summaries
  • Compliance
  • Inquire and follow up with the compliance team for preparation of all the documentation, testing, reports necessary for each product category
  • Basic compliance sheets
  • Basic physical performance test reports of the product
  • Basic chemical properties test reports of the product
  • Comprehensive summaries of all the above
  • Inquire and follow up with the compliance team for preparation and record keeping of
  • Quality private labels à Usually renewed yearly

  • Raw material and raw material supplier certifications à Usually renewed quarterly
  • Factory audits (Benchmark) à Usually get audited quarterly
  • Coordinate onboarding processes for new factories if any
  • Factory set up sheets

  • Palletization and packing standard requirements
  • 3rd party testing battery
  • Forecasting and Safety stock
  • Prepare opening order forecasts for new SKUs
  • Analyze existing in line SKU forecasts provided by the customer
  • Produce a coherent sales forecast
  • Work closely with the customer service team to maintain safe stock levels for in line SKUs
