Community Impact Summer VISTA

Community Impact Summer VISTAs will support short-term projects across CHRISTUS Health Ministries focused on community outreach, service coordination, and program support. Members will assist with activities such as community outreach, resource mapping, data collection, documentation of community services, and development of tools or materials that strengthen outreach efforts. Summer VISTAs may also participate in limited, appropriate direct service activities, including supporting mobile services, outreach events, community navigation efforts, or data intake, to better understand community needs and inform program improvements. All activities are time-limited, non-duplicative, and do not replace staff positions. Direct service is intentional and designed solely to enhance outreach, coordination, and program effectiveness while improving access to services for underserved populations.
