The Paul Merage School of Business is one of the leading business schools in the World, consistently ranking in the top 50 across various programs and dimensions. 

 

Position Summary

  • Looking for a research assistant to help with the continue and further development of an automated trading experiment using real dollars
  • Experiment trades stocks and options across up to nine brokerage accounts and uses data to study economics of retail brokerages
  • Project involves automation using both APIs and screen automation as well as reporting of trade information
  • Position allow potentially includes machine learning and AI use to automate report generation from images

 

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to code in Python and other related Languages to connect to APIs
  • Ability to use technology to screen automate trading 
  • Ability to use Machine Learning and AI to help with report automation
  • Willingness to learn some basic financial knowledge
  • Ability to consistently work on the project (trading happens many weekdays)
