Growth Intern
We are hiring Growth Interns at Sama.
Sama is a video AI Counselor, beginning with college counseling. We help people around the world navigate college in the US, UK, and the world in general, by speaking to the first AI Human College Counselor, offering the same quality as premium (50K+) college counselors for a fraction of the price.
We are growing extremely fast and want A+ people to help us grow even faster.
What you'll do
- Create and publish content across Sama's social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X)
- Develop and test content strategies that drive student awareness and sign-ups
- Visit local high schools to introduce Sama to students and counselors directly (transportation covered)
- Identify and build relationships with school administrators and key contacts
- Track and report on growth metrics, sharing insights with the founding team
- Brainstorm and execute creative guerrilla marketing campaigns
Who we're looking for
- Current university student or recent graduate with a strong interest in education, tech, or startups
- Naturally social — you're comfortable walking into a room and starting a conversation
- Creative content instincts; bonus if you have experience growing social accounts
- Highly self-directed and comfortable in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment
This internship is divided into two phases.
Phase 1: May 1 - July 1, unpaid, virtual.
Phase 2: July 1 - September 1, paid, hybrid
You'll need to pass Phase 1 to go into Phase 2
