About the Internship
Carrington Farms is seeking a Summer 2026 Operations / Quality (QC) & Supply Chain Intern to support our Operations, Quality, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams. This internship is ideal for students interested in food supply chains, sourcing, quality systems, and operations who want hands-on experience in a real business environment.
This is a paid hybrid internship that combines quality documentation, supply chain support, and operational project work. The intern will assist with supplier documentation, help source a product end‑to‑end (including quality requirements), and support day‑to‑day operations. This role focuses on learning, organization, and execution and does not involve making quality decisions. This role reports to the operations team managers and to our brand manager.
What You’ll Do
Collect, organize, and maintain supplier documentation such as Certificates of Analysis (COAs), Certificates of Compliance (COCs), and insurance certificates
Track expired or expiring certifications and assist with supplier follow‑ups
Support internal quality and production documentation systems to improve audit and compliance readiness
Assist with sourcing a product, including gathering supplier information, documentation, and quality requirements
Support supply chain and procurement projects related to supplier setup
Complete ad‑hoc operations projects as needed to support daily business needs
Work cross‑functionally with Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Quality teams

Qualifications
Required:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable working with documents, spreadsheets, and structured data
- Clear written communication skills
- Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred:
- Major or coursework in Supply Chain, Operations, Food Science, Quality, or Business
- Interest in food manufacturing, sourcing, or quality/compliance
- Ability to manage multiple projects with changing priorities
- SAP experience
