Medical Assistant Branson/Springfield, MO

Full-time Medical Assistant wanted to join our fabulous work-family. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about patient care, strive to do their best every day and understand the dynamics of TEAM. Experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for you. Great opportunity for growth and advancement within the company. This position does require applicant to rotate work at all practice locations in the surrounding area.

Responsibilities

• Room setup and daily duties for patient care
• Patient education of procedures, medications, and after care instructions
• Assist in patient care for general dermatology and/or procedures
• Documentation of patient visit/procedure
• Provide medical administrative support, including managing patient records and scheduling appointments
• Utilize EMR systems to document patient information accurately (EMA/Modernizing Medicine)
• Support providers in various settings of patient care
• Ensure adherence to medical terminology and protocols while delivering exceptional patient service

Qualifications

• Medical assistant experience and/or experience with EMR systems preferred
• Strong communication skills and excellent bedside manner
• Familiarity with dermatology practice a plus
