Job Title: Geotechnical Engineer – Licensed PE (Columbia, MO)

Description:

Crockett Engineering is a mid-sized, full-service engineering firm offering Civil, Structural, Geotechnical engineering, Materials Testing, and Surveying services. We are growing rapidly and currently have more major infrastructure work than we can staff. We are looking for a licensed Professional Engineer to join our geotechnical team in Columbia, Missouri.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and oversee geotechnical investigations, soil analysis and foundation design
  • Prepare geotechnical reports and recommendations for infrastructure and private projects
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior staff
  • Manage project deliverables and client communications

Requirements:

  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Missouri or eligible for Missouri licensure by reciprocity
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
  • Geotechnical engineering experience (soil mechanics, foundation design, slope stability, etc.)
  • Willingness to live and work in the Columbia, Missouri area
  • Proficiency with geotechnical software and tools (e.g., gINT, SlopeW, Geostase, or similar)
