Assistant to Patent Attorney

I would like to offer an opportunity to the right student(s) to learn about real world engineering, commercializing, and protecting intellectual property of technology.  
   Their work offices would be in Pacific Palisades.
 
     I am a patent attorney, scientist, entrepreneur, and inventor on over 100 US Patents.

    I have a dual major BS in EE/CS with a minor in Physics, and a Juris Doctorate, 

    In the past, I have utilized undergraduate and graduate students to work for me over the past 10 years.
Unfortunately, the Pacific Palisades fire forced us to evacuate in January 2025, and we have just recently returned.

Job Description:   
    Assistant to Patent Attorney. 
 

Need a person with good technical and mechanical skills:
      * to assist patent attorney with drafting and editing documents relating to patent matters.

* to assist patent attorney with research.

        * to learn to analyze, and search patents and technology.

* to organize files and do filing for business, technical, patent, and legal matters. 
 * to document operational protocols.

Person should be experienced using Mac computers, iPhones, iPads and iMacs.

        * to be able to operate and update as needed.
        * to be responsible for as needed troubleshooting/synchronizing/backing-up of our MacBooks, iMacs, iPhones and iPads.        

        20+ hours/week, on-site.

        Salary: Salary commensurate with skills.

        Location:   Pacific Palisades, CA 90272.
