About the Role

TriSphere Apps is seeking a Training & Development Lead to build and manage structured learning programs for volunteers across technical and non-technical roles. This position is responsible for creating onboarding experiences, training materials, and development pathways that help team members quickly become effective contributors.

This role is critical to improving team performance, retention, and scalability, and will directly support TriSphere’s growth and long-term funding initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement structured onboarding programs for new volunteers
  • Develop training materials, guides, and documentation across teams (engineering, recruiting, business, etc.)
  • Create learning pathways for roles such as software developers, recruiters, and project managers
  • Partner with team leads to identify skill gaps and training needs
  • Establish clear expectations, milestones, and progression frameworks for volunteers
  • Track participation, progress, and training outcomes
  • Continuously improve training processes based on feedback and team performance
  • Support a culture of learning, mentorship, and growth across the organization

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and program development skills
  • Ability to create structured processes and training content from scratch
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Passion for learning, development, and helping others grow

Preferred (Not Required)

  • Experience in training, education, HR, or program development
  • Experience creating onboarding materials or learning modules
  • Familiarity with technical roles (software development, product, etc.)
  • Experience using tools like Notion, OneNote, or LMS platforms
