About the Role

This is a client-facing, execution-driven role, not a traditional people management position.

As a Scientific Project Manager, you will serve as the primary owner of client projects, working directly with researchers to define project goals, design feasible approaches, and ensure smooth execution with internal lab teams.

You will operate at the intersection of science, operations, and client communication, taking full responsibility for moving projects forward from initiation through delivery.

What You’ll Do

  • Work directly with clients to understand research goals and define project scope, timelines, and technical approach
  • Provide practical, scientifically sound solutions aligned with client needs
  • Translate client requirements into clear execution plans for lab teams
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure efficient and high-quality project execution
  • Maintain proactive communication with clients, including updates, troubleshooting, and expectation management
  • Oversee post-project support, including data/image access and technical documentation
  • Ensure a high level of client satisfaction and follow up for feedback
  • Support GLP studies by coordinating with QA and internal teams
  • Contribute to internal R&D and development of new histology and imaging capabilities

Who This Role Is For

This role is best suited for someone who:

  • Has a strong background in histology, pathology, or related life sciences
  • Is comfortable communicating directly with scientific clients
  • Enjoys solving problems and figuring out how to execute experiments effectively
  • Takes ownership and can independently drive projects forward
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
  • Can manage multiple projects without losing organization or quality
