E-Commerce & Digital Marketing Assistant

2+ years of Shopify experience REQUIRED
- MC Home is seeking a detail-oriented, sales-driven, and highly organized Inventory & E-Commerce Assistant to lead the online growth of our curated collection of vintage and antique furniture, lighting, and decorative home accessories.
- In this role, you will manage all aspects of inventory, e-commerce operations, and sales development for MC Home — the retail extension of the MC Interiors brand. You will oversee the full lifecycle of our merchandise, from acquisition and cataloging to online presentation,
order fulfillment, and customer experience.
Job Requirements
2+ years of Shopify experience REQUIRED
- Catalog and maintain accurate records of new inventory in our internal database and keep all items current and compelling on our website
Manage and fulfill all customer orders on Shopify and 1stDibs with exceptional customer
service - Coordinate domestic and international shipping logistics, including pick-up, packing, and delivery directly to customers
- Plan and oversee restoration projects, including reupholstery, rewiring, fabrication, and repairs
- Research, prepare, and review competitive pricing for all inventory
- Organize professional photoshoots for new merchandise
- Create engaging promotional content for newsletters, social media, and marketing campaigns
- Conduct proactive sales outreach to cultivate new and existing customer relationships to help grow the business
- Support special projects for the MC Interiors office as needed
- This is an hourly + commission role.
Education & Experience
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with 1stDibs and Shopify platforms
- Strong background in inventory management, logistics, and online sales
- Excellent understanding of both back-end operations and front-end customer experience
- Familiarity with decorative arts, antiques, or high-end home furnishings is strongly preferred
- Self-motivated with a proactive, problem-solving mindset and high attention to detail
