Marketing Intern
BloqUV is a sun protective apparel company. The company was established in 2009 and has grown significantly since. To build on this momentum, we’re searching for a highly qualified marketing coordinator to work closely with our marketing team.
From day one, this individual will contribute to existing marketing programs while assisting with developing new initiatives aligned with company and client goals. The marketing coordinator must be an organized multitasker able to handle many diverse projects at once.
Objectives of this Role
- Assist in the development and implementation of the company’s brand strategy both on the e-commerce and wholesale departments
- Ensure all marketing efforts serve to achieve immediate and long-term business goals, identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generation
- Research and craft email content calendar. Keeps promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with the graphics department.
- Coordinate media assets.
- Stay up to date with market research, campaign results, and consumer trends
- Further knowledge and education regularly through workshops, research, and seminars, and share best practices, and local marketing ideas and tactics with the team
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- The Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in developing and executing our marketing strategies while collaborating with the marketing team to develop high-quality and original content
- Develop and manage content calendars to ensure that all content is consistent throughout platforms
- Manage and create content for platforms including blogs, websites, email, SMS and social media
- Manage the BloqUV reviews/loyalty program
- Generate traffic and leads through digital strategies such as SEM/SEO, paid search, email marketing strategies, and efforts
- Execute keyword research and competitor analysis and implement those suggestions/analyze results later.
- Track consumer analytics using Google Analytics
- Craft UGC, professional, and influencer campaigns through content marketing platforms
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications
- Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
- Minimum GPA 3.5
- Experience with Klaviyo email marketing is a plus.
- Experience with research using data analytics software such as SEMrush
- Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint/Google Slides, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) tools such as Shopify
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS and design and email software (Klaviyo)
