Digital Ads Specialist
Exler Marketing (EM) is seeking a freelance Digital Ads Specialist (Google Ads & Meta) to join our contractor network and support client projects across a range of industries, with a strong focus on nonprofit organizations. This is a fully remote, U.S.-based independent contractor role offering flexible hours and the opportunity to lead and manage digital advertising campaigns that drive real impact. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled digital advertiser with proven experience managing Google Ads (including Google Ad Grants) and Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram), and someone who thrives in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.
This independent contractor role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with multiple clients, values flexibility, and brings a detail-oriented, strategic approach to ad performance and ROI. Opportunities for ongoing work and growth within the team are available based on performance and fit.
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage, and optimize Google Ads campaigns, including accounts using the Google Ad Grant.
- Plan and execute paid Meta ad campaigns (Facebook/Instagram), including creative coordination, copywriting support, audience targeting, and performance optimization.
- Conduct keyword research, audience building, and competitive analysis to improve campaign effectiveness.
- Set up and monitor conversion tracking using Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics.
- Collaborate with EM’s content and design team to ensure ad campaigns align with client brand and messaging.
- Create monthly performance reports with key insights and strategic recommendations.
- Stay up to date on platform changes, trends, and best practices in Google Ads and social advertising.
- Ensure Google Ad Grant compliance and support monthly account maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S.-based independent contractor (no international applicants or agencies).
- 2+ years of experience managing Google Ads campaigns, including at least 1 year of experience with Google Ad Grants.
- 2+ years of experience running Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram).
- Demonstrated success driving campaign results such as increased traffic, conversions, or engagement.
- Proficiency with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
- Strong communication skills and ability to explain performance data clearly and concisely.
- Highly organized, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comfortable working independently and asynchronously within a collaborative remote team.
Bonus Experience (Not Required):
- Experience with other forms of digital advertising such as LinkedIn, TikTok, or other paid platforms..
- Experience in nonprofit marketing and understanding of mission-driven goals.
- Familiarity with Jewish communal organizations or audiences.
- Experience working alongside designers or copywriters to develop creative assets.
