Culinary Projects Intern, Wolfgang Puck Catering
Position Summary
The Culinary Projects Intern supports cross-functional culinary initiatives by assisting with data collection, recipe management, and training support across multiple units and markets. This role partners closely with culinary teams and the Chef Training Manager to ensure recipe accuracy, brand compliance, and smooth execution of culinary programs. The position offers hands-on exposure to large-scale culinary operations, data management, and standardized recipe systems within a multi-market environment.
Key Responsibilities
Culinary Data & Purchasing Support
- Gather purchasing, ingredient, and product data from culinary teams across units and geographic markets
- Assist with organizing and validating data to support recipe standardization and brand compliance
- Collaborate with culinary and operations partners to ensure timely and accurate data collection
Recipe Database Management
- Maintain and update the centralized recipe database to ensure alignment with brand standards
- Review recipes for completeness, formatting, and compliance with established culinary guidelines
- Support ongoing recipe updates, version control, and documentation accuracy
Training & Program Support
- Assist the Chef Training Manager with uploading new recipes, training materials, and documenting prep SOPs
- Field testing recipes,
- Help organize culinary training resources for ease of access across markets
- Provide administrative and project support for culinary initiatives as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed coursework in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, Nutrition, Food Science, or a related field
- Comfortability in a professional kitchen environment, intermediate knife skills, and basic food safety knowledge
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage data accurately
- Comfortable working with digital tools, databases, and Microsoft Office (Excel preferred)
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse culinary teams
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in culinary operations, recipe development, or foodservice brand standards
